By accessing or using solve.science, creating a Solvé account, or purchasing any Solvé product, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and to our Privacy Policy, RUO Disclaimer, and Researcher Attestation. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 21 years of age
- You must be a qualified researcher
- You must have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction
- You must not be barred from purchasing research chemicals under applicable law
Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at support@solve.science if you suspect unauthorized access.
Research use only
All Solvé products are sold strictly for in-vitro research use only. See our RUO Disclaimer for the full details. By placing an order you confirm that you are purchasing for legitimate research purposes and will not use, share, or transfer Solvé products for human or veterinary consumption.
Orders, pricing, and availability
- All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude tax unless otherwise noted
- Prices and availability may change without notice; we honor the price shown at checkout
- We may refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion — including for suspected fraud, attestation failure, or shipping-restriction issues
- Pricing or product-page errors do not bind us; we may cancel and refund any order priced in error
Membership
Solvé Membership is a recurring subscription that unlocks member pricing, free BAC water and shipping, and access to certain resources and tools. You authorize Solvé to charge your payment method on the recurring schedule disclosed at sign-up until you cancel.
You can cancel anytime from your member dashboard. The first 30 days are risk-free — full refund of dues, no questions. After the first 30 days, dues paid for the current billing period are non-refundable but you keep member benefits through the end of the period.
Shipping & returns
See our full Shipping & Returns policy. In short: domestic orders placed before 2pm ET ship the same business day. Members ship standard free. Returns accepted within 30 days for unopened, undamaged products; opened or contaminated research compounds are non-returnable for safety.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Solvé products for human or animal consumption or any therapeutic purpose
- Resell or redistribute Solvé products without prior written consent
- Misrepresent your age, researcher status, or purpose for purchasing
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, scrape, or reverse-engineer the site, the calculator, or the tracker
- Upload viruses or malicious code; impersonate any person; or use the site for illegal activity
Intellectual property
All content on solve.science — text, images, graphics, logos, the Solvé wordmark, calculator and tracker software — is owned by Solvé Sciences, LLC or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission. See our DMCA Policy for takedown procedures.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, solve.science, the calculator, the tracker, and all Solvé products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free or that defects will be corrected.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Solvé Sciences, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, advisors, or agents be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from or related to your use of solve.science or any Solvé product. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Solvé in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solvé Sciences, LLC, its affiliates, and its personnel from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of any Solvé product, or your violation of any law.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS in Austin, Texas, on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action. Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual-property claims.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to active accounts at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the site after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
