Our commitment
Solvé is committed to making solve.science usable by everyone — including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, or other assistive technologies. We design and build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we regularly audit the site to keep it that way.
Features we ship
- Semantic HTML throughout — headings, landmarks, button vs. link distinctions
- Keyboard navigable — every interactive element reachable with Tab/Shift-Tab and operable with Enter/Space
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Color contrast — text passes WCAG AA against its background
- Alt text on informative images; decorative images marked appropriately
- ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and form fields
- Skip-to-content links on long pages
- Responsive layouts from 320px width up
- Honor reduced-motion — animations disable when
prefers-reduced-motionis set - No motion that flashes more than three times per second
Known gaps
We're not perfect. Areas we're actively improving:
- Some interactive third-party widgets (payment, analytics) inherit accessibility behavior from their providers and may not be fully WCAG-conforming
- Captions on customer-story videos are being added — please ask if you need transcripts for any specific video
- The peptide-page interactive size picker can be improved for screen-reader announcement of price changes
Tell us about a barrier
If you run into an accessibility issue, we want to know. Email support@solve.science with:
- The URL of the page where you ran into the issue
- What you were trying to do
- What happened instead
- The assistive technology you were using (screen reader, voice control, etc.)
We aim to acknowledge within two business days and resolve or schedule a fix within ten.
Standards we reference
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA (W3C)
- Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act
- EN 301 549 (EU)
- ADA Title III (U.S.)
